November 18, 2013 … an austere day

Busy days sometimes prevent a lot of time with the camera.

The Carter Fountain

A grey day

This is not good. I took some images but that’s about all I can say Today’s blog will be extremely brief. Tomorrow will definitely be a novelty. Oriental Bay was grey but the fountain was doing its thing. On the South coast the sea and sky were that milky grey such that it was hard to tell where one began and the other ended.

South Coast greyness

The horizon is hard to find

And as Forest Gump said, that’s all I have to say about that.

About wysiwygpurple

Retirement suits me well. I spend much of my time out making pictures, or at home organizing and refining my pictures. This blog provides me with a platform from which I can indulge my passion for improving my photography and at the same time analyze my thoughts about what I have seen, where I have been and what is happening in my life. My images set out to be honest, but that does not mean I have not adjusted them. I use software to display what I saw though the viewfinder to best advantage. My preference is for landscape and nature, and is mostly centred around my hometown of Wellington, New Zealand.
